Mobility First does not offer Service Agreements longer than three (3) years.
What's Included
Your Service Agreement includes:
- In-home service calls
- Professional diagnosis of equipment issues
- Phone troubleshooting and technical support
- Labor to install parts covered under the manufacturer's warranty
- Labor to install replacement parts purchased from Mobility First after the manufacturer's warranty has expired
- Priority scheduling for service appointments
What's Not Included
The following items are considered normal wear-and-tear or are excluded from coverage unless specifically covered by the manufacturer's warranty:
- Tires
- Wheels and casters
- Batteries (unless covered by the manufacturer's warranty)
- Arm pads
- Hand grips
- Plastic shrouds and cosmetic components
- Upholstery
- Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, water, fire, flooding, or unauthorized repairs
- Damage resulting from improper transportation or storage
- Any item excluded by the original manufacturer's warranty
Replacement parts are not included unless covered by the manufacturer's warranty or purchased separately.
Eligibility Requirements
To purchase a Mobility First Service Agreement:
- Equipment must be purchased directly from Mobility First, LLC.
- The Service Agreement must be purchased within 30 days of the original equipment purchase.
- Service Agreements cannot be added to used equipment, previously owned equipment, refurbished equipment, rental equipment, or equipment purchased from another dealer or retailer.
- Service Agreements are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Mobility First.
Service Area
Service Agreements are available only for customers located within our regular service area.
Coverage is available for equipment located within 150 miles of Florence, Kentucky, including Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, Southeastern Indiana, and surrounding Tri-State communities.
Equipment located outside this service area is not eligible for coverage.
Loaner Equipment Policy
Loaner equipment is not included with any Mobility First Service Agreement.
When available, a loaner unit may be provided for an additional fee and is subject to equipment availability. Mobility First cannot guarantee that a loaner will be available during the repair period.
Safety Policy
The safety of our customers is our highest priority.
If, during an inspection or service visit, Mobility First determines that equipment is unsafe to operate due to excessive wear, damage, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or mechanical failure, we will notify the customer and recommend the necessary repairs.
If the customer declines the recommended repairs or replacement required for safe operation, Mobility First reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service on the equipment until the safety concerns have been corrected.
Mobility First is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the continued use of equipment that has been identified as unsafe after the customer has declined recommended repairs.
Additional Terms
- Coverage begins on the date the Service Agreement is purchased.
- Service Agreements cover labor and in-home service only and do not replace or extend the manufacturer's warranty.
- Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the equipment manufacturer.
- Mobility First reserves the right to inspect equipment before approving any service claim.
- Service Agreements cannot be extended beyond three (3) years.
- Mobility First reserves the right to deny coverage for damage resulting from misuse, neglect, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or repairs performed by anyone other than Mobility First or an authorized service provider.
- Missed service appointments without at least 24 hours' notice may be subject to a service call fee.
